For an Ironworks spin on the classic cocktail, mix yourself up a Brandy Apple-xander using our Apple Brandy made with local NS apples.
The light chocolate flavour from the creme de cacao compliments so well with the apple brandy to create a sort of candy apple finish that brings just enough heat to counter the bitter cold soon to come!
1.5oz Ironworks Apple Brandy (or Sweet Apple Brandy for a sweeter version)
1oz Cream (we use 10%)
3-4 dashes of Apple Bitters (optional)
Nutmeg for garnish
Add brandy, creme de cacao and cream to shaker and fill with ice. Shake until well chilled. Strain into coupe glass and add several dashes of apple bitters (if using). Garnish with grated nutmeg.
Enjoy! For an added treat, mix the ingredients without ice and add mixture to coffee. Delicious!
