Marc is distilled in the style of the Italian product known as Grappa. From round and balanced to floral and aromatic, each of our four styles of Marc have been distilled from the fermented spent wine skins from Avondale Sky Winery and are left to rest for maturation for up to one year.
When ordering Marc, please specify which variety you prefer. Please note that we are now sold out of the Leon Millot, Geisenheim and most of the L'Acadie Blanc varietals of Marc but we still have several cases left of the aromatic New York Muscat to order from.
In August 2017, our Marc received two medal standings, Bronze level for the L'Acadie Blanc and Silver Level for New York Muscat at the"Drink Outside The Grape" competition in Virginia US. This event celebrates wines and spirits made from ingredients other than the standard grape juice. We were very pleased with the results!
