Our Sweet Apple Brandy

From the very beginning, here at Ironworks, we wanted to make fine spirits using the bountiful produce grown here in Nova Scotia. The top choice, of course was to use apples, from the famous Annapolis Valley, where apple trees have grown since the Acadians farmed there starting in the 17th century. Using the lessons we learned in Europe, we distilled our first fruit brandies in 2009, and they soon become some of our very favourite products.
