The cat wins…

Under the banner of “other beasts we know and love” comes the lovely gray cat who by now has claimed victory at the distillery as the last animal standing. Calla is an elegant thing – who has now taken to parading around the shop yowling loudly to anyone in the room. Deaf as a post and deeply opinionated, she is all of 23 years old and allowed to do whatever she likes. By now we’ve figured out that she’s very pleased to be the only animal in the family. She may have trained up the dogs along the way but she’s very willing to take all of the attention for herself now – then again, how can we deny a face this pretty…
I hate to break it to her – but I think we’re getting a new pup for her to train. There will have to be extra treats in it for her. Union rules.

My wife of a whole one week and I are coming to see you tomorrow, Calla! Oh, and to visit your humans and sample some of what Ironworks has to offer us visiting New Yorkers. Can’t wait to meet you!
