Here’s something to warm you up this fall: the Blueberry Grunt is a fun way to play with teas and craft spirits without the time commitment of an infusion. As a popular Maritime dessert, this recipe just begs to be translated by our own East Coast staples, the Amber Rum and Blueberry Liqueur.
• 1 oz Ironworks Amber Rum
• 2.5 oz Ironworks Blueberry Liqueur
• 6 oz Earl Grey Tea, strongly steeped
• 1 tsp Maple Syrup
Steep tea 8-10 minutes. Add and stir maple syrup to melt, then add additional ingredients. Add a cinnamon stick or 1-2 pods of star anise for a slight spice.
